Building -
Before this week the building work was isolated from the main church building. That was to change after mothers and toddlers on Weds. When the various accesses into the new build started to take shape.
First of all the surroundings of the third window in the small hall were removed. This then was boarded up while the stone work below the window frame was removed. Less than 24 hours later, a door frame was present which would for the basis of the stable door / hatch into the small hall.
Then the “old” back door was attacked, this being widened to improve access into the main building and to better integrate the two sections of the building.
This will all be back in place before Sunday’s services.
As if this wasn’t enough the plasterers returned to plaster the entire wall area of the new build. It is all coming together.
