For those who have worshipped in the church for a long number of years, this picture of the new disabled toilet under the stairs is a picture of triumph.
With the exception of the small vestry toilets, only accessible by going through the sanctuary, there have been no inside facilities and no hot water. The completion of the toilet with flooring and plumbing indicates that the completion date is now very close indeed.
The new main toilet block is also starting to come together. The plumbing is in placed awaiting connection. We even have a low level mother and toddlers sink. The toilets and some other pieces of ceramic ware are to be connected.
The floor has been part screeded ready for the flooring, lights have been fitted and we do need to add some hand driers and vanity items.
The door into the sanctuary are has been widened and plastered, but this and a few other locations now need to be redecorated. Certainly heading into the home straight now.
